Under Canopy Grow Light를 선택하는 방법?

Have you heard about the latest buzz in the LED plant light market? That’s Under Canopy Lighting(UCL)! Now, some newbie growers might be scratching their heads and thinking: Do I need to buy one? Will it work?

If you have problems like poor light transmission through the canopy or insufficient light under the plants, the under canopy grow light might just turn the tables. It has this amazing diffusing ability that can penetrate the canopy and provide light to the bottom of the canopy. This can increase your yield and give you more beautiful flowers at a lower height.

I saw someone talking about a certain brand of under canopy tent lights, complaining that there’s too much red light in the spectrum, so the fixture was not friendly to him. I think this comment is kind of out of context. But we should know, LED under canopy lights are designed to add light to the lower layer of the plants and promote flower bud growth, so the proportion of red light is going to be a bit higher.

Even if they are all UCLs, the spectrum of each model is different. So before buying, be sure to check if the parameters like the spectrum, wattage, PPFD of the lamp meet your needs. Only the UCL that meets your needs and maximizes them is THE BEST under-canopy lighting!
